Re: Life in Thailand Poll No.3 (Food preferences)

Life on the wild side in Kui Buri
Watching wild elephants roam unrestricted in their natural jungle habitat is what attracts thousands of visitors every year to Kui Buri National Park, about an hour's drive south of Hua Hin town, Prachuap Khiri Khan. And it isn't just elephants, there are other forms of wildlife there worth watching...

Re: Tips for a novice golfer...?
I'd have to agree with that too - two years playing and never breaking 100 was enough for me to hang up the golf bats! Still enjoy a swipe round the local military course with a couple of mates and a few beers now and then though so it never really leaves you. You just get steadily worse, don't both...

Re: The Digital Surgery

I disagree, Windows computers get very clogged up after a few months and (especially when infected and three different AV products have messed with the registry) start to boot and run a lot slower. As good compu...

Just ignore it like you would IE if you use Firefox, it does no harm. If it is constantly running you can disable it in control panel.

Hua Hin to become a MICE destination
Thailand is expected to welcome 720,000 MICE (meeting, incentives, conventions, exhibitions) visitors this year, generating roughly US$1.9 billion in revenue. At the Connections Plus 2011 Programme last week, the yearly event during which Thailand hosted key buyers, corporate clientele and members o...

One Hundred Years Of Solitude - Gabriel García Márquez, been on the shelf for a while, finally got into it and am finding it one of the best books I've ever picked up.

No democratic hope for south Thailand
Thailand's Puea Thai Party won this month's general election in a landslide, pummeling the incumbent Democrat Party.
