Re: Children Swimmingpool Accidents
As an aside to the chlorine issue I used to do summer jobs in a frozen food processing plant. I was enticed in by an engineer and he'd been draining the chlorine. This was a fairly big warehouse and my lungs just stopped. It was like walking into a brick wall. The engineer was laughing and i didn't...

Re: Children Swimmingpool Accidents
Pool chemicals are dangerous. I remember a politician from australia is blind in one eye after a drop of acid for the pool splashed up and got him. When I was a kid in England in the seventies, the caretaker of my comprehensive school was found drowned in the swimming pool one morning after apparen...

Re: Children Swimmingpool Accidents
Sorry to contradict pdm3547 but chlorine is not odourless; as Takiap inferes it has a strong smell - just like household bleach...or swimming pools!! Trying not to get off topic, but the wrong mixture can affect kids and adults. The following gives a good explanation: http://www.scienceforums.net/t...

A documentary on True TV last night about this. Some big money, and even bigger names, getting involved.

They don`t get very good press on most internet reviews. Seems that they may have a place, but not in a house sized room.If it is curved, how are you getting on with it?

According to the following, "Powerbuy" are the agents in Hua Hin. Probably get the usual mai mee from them, but maybe worth a try:

Hmm, I am not even going to ask about the advice given to you by someone close to you! :rasta: Not sure if Gadgetrend in Bangkok has them, but may be worth checking. Each time I try to open their website it hangs my laptop. :banghead: I am sure there are other suppliers in Bangkok, and most of those...

Re: Financing for Farangs to purchase property
I have refrained from posting this since it was 25 years ago. Firstly, as to be expected here, it is not what you know, but who you know! My late wife was well connected through some of her family, and we were able to get a loan, although we did have to put up a deposit. The loan was in her name, an...

Re: Mounts for mounting cameras in cars.
"Ram" mounts are good, as they have a rubber ball incorporated into the clamping part, which help stop vibrations. But I think what is happening here could be caused by: 1. You have stated that the mount is "loose", so it could be the source of the noise. 2. The camera housing is...

As I've said before, it doesn't happen when not in that holder. Erm, no, what you wrote was: (the rattle doesn't happen in any other video). I think they are saying that it is a combination of packing and the holes. In another place they talk about a "skeleton" mount that is not enclosed....

I guess there isn`t any Russian "mafia" around that area!
What really surprises me is: why didn`t the big floozie deliver him a swift kick in the cojones? She certainly appeared to be big enough!
I suppose his "boss" will now have to find someplace else to intimidate people.

Here's a video, which demonstrates the rattle on the drive from the hotel to the outlaw's home in Isaan: That sure is a strange noise you have there! If you listen very closely around the first third or so, some voices can also be heard? I think you can rule out electical interference, as it does n...
