Precious petals

It is truely amazing that people can so easily be offended by slang/colloquial expressions and idiom. My dear "partner/Mrs/wife/spouse" has recently learnt a very valuable English expression - "if u don't like it lump it" and she says it with a smile! The all pervading influence ...

Breakdown

In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown(god/buddha forbid) is there such a reliable organisation such as the RAC in Thailand to assist or R U best left to your own defences and forced to wave 1000Bht notes at passer bys?

water tanks

I gather HH is in a water shadow and there appears to be for some an issue with water prices for people living in some developments. What is the thought on installing water tanks? What sorts are available (materials), capacities and prices. Where is the preferred side of a house to put them ie: prev...

At the risk of sounding a total fool is it possible to travel using your own car (say registered in Thailand) to "exotic" places like Laos, Cambodia, Burma, Malaysia and Singapore. Are there border problems and costs that I need to be aware of?
