Sorted, found something on Google Play that added the Thai locale and a Thai keyboard. Have a look at SwiftKey, it's easily the best Keyboard on the market anyway and if you install an additional language pack (Thai) you can can just swipe the spacebar to change Language/Keyboard. It probably costs...
