I recall a forum member who mentioned trying to import a Supra or something similar from Australia (?) and it was so much hassle and expense that he eventually gave up.....? GN. As I understand, that is because there is no such thing as 'visa on arrival'. It is 30 day 'visa exempt'. Therefore there is no visa to extend. There is such a thing as a visa on arrival, but it's not the same thing as the 30-day visa exempt stamp that people often confuse it with. So what visa can...

So if you enter Thailand on a 30-day visa-upon-arrival, you can only extend at immigration for one week but if you enter on a 60-day visa you can extend at immigration one month??
