Re: You think Thai TV is tasteless...?

They never will.! Thai TV is IMO some of the worst programming ever set to air. The 20 minute interruptions with mindless commercials, the dubbing of dare I say it C class films with inappropriate Thai voiceovers, screens obliterated with Chinese and Thai subtitles, the need for ridiculous sound eff...

Re: Dan Singkhon Myanmar border crossing to open

Haphazardly wandered into Burma 2 weeks back via the stairs on the side to the "Burmese" market. Noted the border checkpoint behind me and quickly wandered back into LOS before noticed by people in uniform

Re: How Thailand might save the world from a dengue pandemic

Using dog kidney cells to attenuate the dengue virus to the stage where it could trigger an immune response in humans without the accompanying symptoms,

So that's what happens to the dogs. Kidneys extracted and infected with dengue.

Hell if they can have street car races which people pay to see, why can't the same be said for street scooter races - run under controlled race conditions of course.

They wouldn't have worried about him in the UK if he had been smuggling illegal immigrants.

Re: Termites- eating wood

You are spot on sun/f. Our kitchen was badly damaged as a result of infiltration from a neighbours riddled tree. Many other units in the complex have also suffered. The preferred food does appear to be the glued laminated woods (engineered woods) and the cheaper materials used in roof joists. Despit...

Re: Next to Soi 102...are they constructing a mosque ??

Yes soon to be infiltrating into a village near you. Thank goodness the military boys are not too welcoming to abhorrent behaviour in LOS. Just read an article on the net suggesting > 200,000 principally from the "war torn mid east" have applied for asylum in Deutschland. Hopefully they di...

Re: Good Thai Massage?

Can't beat the air conditioned room, foot wash + ginger tea + traditional Thai massage at Pinkaeow massage in Pranburi. Just past Tesco Lotus on left where road has a slow left bend.
Even worth the ride in the orange bus!
