Re: Journey to retirement visa
You want an "O" visa NOT an "O - A" visa. OA visa has medical ins. requirement whereas O does not. I'm sure I'm missing something here too but am sure others will fill in the missing items.

Most of you don't get it. It's about what Rupert Murdock did with his Fox (not News) for 20 years. They title it News but is really constant negative opinion on anything and everything regarding any change. All this goes on while China keeps whittling away with the rest of the world.

Re: Where to buy hearing aid batteries?
I've got a whole raft of # 13 batteries for aids that no longer work for me. Anyone who needs some PM me and tell me how many packages you need and will see what I can do. No charge for batteries or shipping either. Better they are used than rot in drawer.

Re: Flying into Thailand, latest updates
I just checked for RT PCR test from LAX. Lab located at airport and test results can come back in as little as 3 hours but 24-48 hours is standard. Couldn't find the cost but at least the test can be had there before flying out from LAX.

Yes, and the DMV has an appointment system now as I just renewed my Dr. License down here in the south. Quite slikc and makes the visit quite smooth and short. Surprising such an improvement was made.

Re: CP threatens to sue anyone calling the billionaire boss Chinese
Big C is still around and always Lazada so not stuck. When I order things in the U.S. (to be sent to me by friends) I also avoid Amazon whenever possible. Monopolies are not good for the consumer. Just try to purchase designer eye glass frames and $5 cost to make becomes over $100 at the stores.

GREAT P.R. for the company. Scare your customers away. I already avoid any of their stores if possible because of their monopoly.

Re: Home Generators
I also run the generator for 30 minutes every month if it has not been on during the month. This is to insure the motor is working properly and to keep the battery charged up. I also have a 1 amp trickle charger connected to the battery that I turn on periodically to also keep the power up in the ba...

Re: Home Generators
My generator is wired into a control box mounted just over the electrical panel. The control box has a switch to allow the electricity to the power panel to come from the main power line OR from the generator. When the power goes out I go back to the box and switch the power to generator, go outside...

Re: Home Generators
Just checked Big Boys links to Honda Generators. First one is too small at around 25 KVA but the EZ6500CXSR on the next line is 5,500 max KVA and is the rating mine has for the house. I can run everything in the house on it at the same time except the instant hot water heaters. At 6,000 watts they o...

Re: Home Generators
Global House had Honda generators displayed in the Honda products display by the Power Tools section in all the Global House stores I have been into. Buy it and have them load it into your car. There are many of other brands and models in Global house too but HONDA's are the best.

Re: Home Generators
I have had a generator since I moved south (9+ years ago) with all the power outages we have here outside of town. First generator was some off brand and it worked but would not generate stable power causing some things not to work right in the house. Two years ago I bit the bullet (paid the price) ...
