Re: Another (sorry) visa question

The 400,000Baht limit only applies if you want a spouse visa, if you go for a normal retirement visa you still need 800k, this is what most people go for as the Spouse visa is more difficult to obtain

Re: New Post Office in Hua Hin

You also have the facility upstairs in Market Village plus there are many local stores that do postal service but only within Thailand so no good if you wish to post to overseas.

Re: Shocking video campaign aims to change Thai driving behaviour

Re: Shocking video campaign aims to change Thai driving behaviour

Re: Minivan, bus and road accidents

so the police want to use cameras instead of stopping bad drivers so they do not have confrontation. License suspension no longer being implemented. Basic road rules are not enforced. Why don't the authorities just admit they are incompetent and incapable of dealing with the issue, fire all the traf...

Re: Opening of Ratchapakdi Park

A proper park with cut grass, flower beds, places for kids to play, soccer field, lake with ducks/swans, cycle track etc. would be a great place to take the kids at weekends, but this is not the Thai way, one cannot go outside in the sun.

Re: Hua Hin immigration warns homeowners: 24hrs to report foreign guests

The statement states ALL RESIDENTS RETURNING TO HUA HIN MUST REPORT TO THE LOCAL IMMIGRATION OFFICE WITHIN 24hrs OF ARRIVAL, this is exactly the opposite of what I had been advised by immigration on my return in August, previously I had always attended immigration as soon as returning. I doubt anyon...

Re: What is the real reason you wear a seatbelt?

Everyone knows you have to wear a seat belt to stop you falling off you seat when you bend down to pick up the mobile phone you dropped which you were using while driving.
