Re: IKTS 2009/10

Many thanks BB, the last few weeks were tough and I'm pleased to have scraped through! Still, another good competition where everyone is getting closer and closer - congratulations to everyone else that took part. And not forgetting old foes who are no longer with us, but at least Chris would be thr...

Yup! :thumb:  :thumb:

If I'd been offered 8-0 before the game and a dodgy off-side 1st goal, you know what, I'd have taken it!

Re: Premier League 2009-10

like i said, not really a level playing field, is it? A happy Christmas to you too, RZR! :thumb: Is the grass not green, the pitch near perfect, all presented in the same way? If not, I can't begin to imagine what you are alluding to? I remember when Chelsea were really in debt - and ...

Re: Premier League 2009-10

I'm dreading tomorrows game against Wigan - I was at this one: http://football.fanhouse.co.uk/2010/05/06/remember-when-geoff-hurst-suffered-as-wigan-stunned-chelsea/ It was freezing cold and as miserable as sin, even cuddling up with my girlfriend couldn't keep either of us warm. The small crowd in ...

Problem is RZR, is that we've heard the same thing for the last 5 years! You always seem to have a better Academy team than the one that matters!!!

Re: Premier League 2009-10

There are only two clubs I honestly can say I dislike and that is Chelsea and Man City, this for the simple reason of using large amount of money to buy star players rather than developing juniors. I mean these two clubs are driving the game of football in the wrong direction. I agree with you, Ter...

Re: GBP vs THB

The point is its not a Tory paper, rather a treasury one. Agreed, The Tories have outlined plans re: Tax credits, but none have talked of cutting welfare benefits - JSP, invalidity and the like.

Lets be honest, if we get a coalition, we get fudge and the decisons needed won't be made.

Re: GBP vs THB

Hidden away in the drama of last night, The Times reported a treasury document that has proposed cuts in UK welfare benefits and means testing others, such as Child Benefit. I assume that will be considered by any incoming Govt? Can't be bothered to hunt for the link.

Re: Premier League 2009-10

It was an interesting game. City started well enough, but couldn't maintain the pace and by the end, Spurs were in such control that City just looked what they were - a disorganised rabble. To be blunt, they were better under Hughes. But well done Spurs and I'm glad I got something right this season...

Re: IKTS 2009/10

I had the worse week ever, so I'm not looking at my score. I'm not looking at my score, I'm not looking at my score, I'm not looking at my score. Actually, I'm more interested in Chelsea winning the league! I think Lomu won the 1st year, me the 2nd, can't think who got the 3rd (sorry) and I scraped ...
