Re: Power fluctuations - electric supply
Unfortunately I need to keep this thread alive. So I am having a problem with my Hitachi Water Pump not maintaining a constant and consistent water flow to my new Stiebel Eltron Shower Heater and that is causing problems with the Shower Heater. The Shower Heater requires a constant and consistent fl...

Global House
So I went to Global House in Nakhon Sawan today( a 130 Kilometer round trip) and purchased a Stiebel Eltron Shower Heater, and when I got back home I found that the box only contained the shower heater unit itself and was missing the shower head and water hoses and filter/regulator. I guess it's my ...

Re: Power fluctuations - electric supply
So do you have a separate water pump and water tank? :? And could you provide a link to the system you are talking about because I looked at the Home Pro website and did not see anything like what you have mentioned in your post on the Home Pro website. We have just one pump, a standard Mitsubishi ...

Re: About the arrival of Buddhism to Thailand
Clinging to old customs and traditions is not a good thing, and I don't think romanticizing the past is a good thing either. The truth is that daily life in Thailand is hard and it's nothing like what you would see in a tourist brochure, daily life must have been hellaciously mesirable a long time a...

Re: Power fluctuations - electric supply
In the U.S. the water tank and water heater are simply 1 integral unit and not separate. What makes you think that the heater is separate to the tank? It is an integral storage tank and heater element, just mounted horizontally. You may be referring to a system that has an oil fired boiler, storage...

Re: Power fluctuations - electric supply
It probably does not need pointing out, but then again:  The plumbing is entirely different if using a single storage tank hot water system. It needs to be either built that way during construction, or if later, the "Thai way" with all the piping exposed on the walls. :agree: And I'm...

Re: The bikers thread; trips, news, chat, all things motorcycle
I really hope this will make the HD bikes cheaper in Thailand. I have wanted one a long time already, but have felt that the prices doesn't justify me purchasing one. I really envy those from the States with the prices they have on cars and bikes over there. :agree: I would buy a HD to if the price...

I have seen that there is a new Harley-Davidson dealership on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road across from North Park in Bangkok. (near Don Mueang Airport)

Re: Power fluctuations - electric supply
I think Thailand needs to adopt the system that is used in the U.S. where you just have a single Hot Water Heater Tank that supplies hot and cold water throughout the entire house. I don't want to burst your bubble but this is not an idea unique to the U.S. :duck: Actually, we do have this system i...

I also have had to replace my Panasonic Shower Heater because the thermostat button( emergency heat shut off switch) on the top of the little boiler inside of the shower heater was malfunctioning and I was constantly having to reset it. I just replaced it with another el cheapo Panasonic Shower Heat...

Re: Evening education for Thai adults.
I wish I could get my girlfriend to go to an Adult Education School, but I know she would never go because she is too shy and she would view it as a 'loss of face'. My girlfriend is so shy and to put it bluntly 'dumb' that she basically can not function anywhere outside of her tiny little village. T...
