Re: Songkran 2021 Road Accidents

Yes, but possibly motorbikes that have been rammed off the road by a pickup!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Possibly but it looks as if that would be a very small minority of cases given that (at least on the only day that it's mentioned) only 3.92% of the accidents involved cars. I have no id...

Songkran 2021 Road Accidents

Having said what I have, I’ve also witnessed a lot of what look like under 20 year old Thai youngsters driving their little Hondas flat out and scaring the pants off me (often with no helmet)- definitely accidents waiting to happen.

Re: Songkran 2021 Road Accidents

I’m not disputing what you have said BB but I’ve also witnessed pickups cutting up motorcycles too - whoever is to blame, the end result is that the motorcyclist comes off worst

Re: Songkran 2021 Road Accidents

The thing that always stands out to me in all the accident statistics I see for Thailand, whether it be for Songkran or overall, is the fact that motorbikes are always involved in around 90% (or more) of accidents. Yes, but possibly motorbikes that have been rammed off the road by a pickup!! Sent f...

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19

I contacted Bangkok Hospital and they said they had ordered Sinovac (yuck) and Astra Zeneca vaccines. Both are among the lowest in effectiveness of the lot. I thought the Astra Zeneca vaccine came out fairly well overall - maybe not quite on a par with Pfizer but certainly better than Sinovac? Give...

I’ve no doubt that if Kane does come onto the Market at the end of this season, he will be highly sought after - like him or not, his record in the EPL and for England is second to none.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

A more useful statistic would be x number of new patients from y tested, at least that would give some perspective - at the moment we don’t know if it’s 10,000 or 100,000 being tested?

Re: BluPort Entrance Renovations/Internal Reorganisation

My response was written to They could move one [Villa] to BluPort and utilise the larger space! So, if you can drive to Bluport in 3 minutes, you could drive to Villa in 4. My point was why would Villa want to move, and potentially make it more inconvenient to get to them for a large part of Hua Hi...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

At least picking up positive tests from people who previously tested negative, is better than picking up negative tests and potentially missing infected people. Like you, I’m also hoping the authorities will speed up the vaccination process, in conjunction with any increase in tourism and remaining ...
