Leslie West died today. He was such an underrated guitarist with Mountain and on solo projects. Fantastic tone using little or no electronic assistance just pure talent. Look him up on YouTube Unfortunately Mountain's performance at Woodstock was not in the film. I later life he had part of a leg am...

Re: The Digital Surgery (computer questions here)
It seems to be a "feature " of Google/Samsung. Press the off button and the down volume button at the same time making it reboot. It is quite common apparently. All sorted now .

Re: The Digital Surgery (computer questions here)
I am stuck. I have gone to log back into my tablet and I have put the correct PIN number in but it keeps telling me to try again in 30 seconds and when I do I get the same response. It doesn't say that the PIN is incorrect as it has when I have made a mistake. What can I do? It's a Samsung Tab A Hop...

That's what Etihad did with us and they are refusing a refund. KLM have been flying throughout the situation.

Re: Flying into Thailand, latest updates
Are there any Airlines operating flights from Bangkok to the U.K. ? My latest attempt to fly out on 16th September with Emirates has been cancelled. They say they are now only accepting bookings from late October. I understand some people have returned to the U.K., but I don’t know by which airline...

Re: Emirates : A warning
In January this year I booked and paid for 2 business class tickets for BKK > LHR > BCN >BKK. In March I received a message by E-Mail informing me that all of my flights had been cancelled, and offered me the choice of re-booking or a 90% refund. I choose refund. Today, 5 months later I have receiv...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News
Went to our local coffee shop to get some bread. They seem to have started to serve eat in customers whereas over the last few weeks they have only been doing takeaway. Also the sign saying that they only do takeaway had been taken down. Has the ban been relaxed?

Re: Blood pressure medication in Hua Hin
Bendroflumothazide diuretic Valsarten and Doxasocin or something close as I have not got the boxes with me at the moment Bendroflumothazide is not used here. Or so I was told. I used it in the UK and was prescribed Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg instead. I originally lived in Korat when moving here and m...

Re: Blood pressure medication in Hua Hin
First Floor Market Village. From Tesco walking towards Petchkasem, on your left you have the Tesco Food Court, the Bun and Bread Shop (don't know name), Watsons and Fascino - definitely worth a try in the first instance. Thank you so much. If I had gone to the hospital it would have cost about 8000...
