Hi - does anyone know of anywhere that has pubic access to a fax machine? I have some urgent financial papers I need to fax to the UK.

One thing you might also want to consider is the use of an on-line banking facility. I use and would recommend Kasikorn. They have a service that works really well. I had no problem walking into the Hau Hin Branch and opening an account and obtaining a Kasikorn cash card. I regularly transfer money ...

I clean my filters every month and don't find this an erroneous or difficult task. I am looking for some assistance with a local Hua Hin A/C engineer who can maintain & repair. Are there any others apart from crazy88 and Nereus' recommendations?

One of my Samsung A/C units has started to blow out warm air not cold. I think it needs re gassing and probably a service. Can anyone recommend someone in Hua Hin who is competent, reasonable and can speak English?

We live at Avalon, our experience has only been positive. Our villa is perfect. Avalon have been brilliant from start to finish and we are living the dream in a home we love.

Don't look at the UK bank rates go onto a Thai Bank site or the bank of Thailand to do a comparison. Lloyds/TSB will give you 57.39 but Kasikornbank will give you 62.05.

Anyone had their roof PU spray foam insulated. Can you recommend it for water proofing. If so, who did you use/recommend and what are the costs per M2?

I am currently semi retired and living in the UK. I have invested in a property on the Avalon development. Can anyone give me a low down on the development, quality, amenities and things I should be considering or anything that would be of general interest?

Just found this web site today, found it very interesting. My wife and I are buying a property in Hau Hin and are planning to retire there next year.
