Vehicle Inspection Stations

Does anyone know what the official Thai name for those vehicle smog inspection stations that you have to take your vehicle to every year in order to renew your vehicles registration? And how I might be able to contact the government agency responsible for these vehicle inspection stations.

Re: Koh Tao police to reopen death case of Belgian tourist

Think you'll find the majority of crooks , scammers, scumbags and undesirables are those that have moved to Thailand to live, as opposed to tourists. :| Right, and I said both foreign(farang) and domestic(Thai). And some of those foreigners are genuine tourists and some of those foreigners live her...

Re: Koh Tao police to reopen death case of Belgian tourist

Thailand needs to start moving away from tourism, the Tourism Industry in Thailand just attracts too many crooks, scammers, scumbags and undesirables both foreign and domestic. And Thailand needs to stop constantly lying to themselves and get to work fixing the real problems and issues that exist h...

Re: Koh Tao police to reopen death case of Belgian tourist

Thats what we farang think it NEEDS, but then who cares what we think. The whole concept of identifying the source of a problem, considering the choices to solve the problem, choosing one and acting on it with determination. Those are the elements of problem-solving. Which one is missing?? ALL of t...

Re: Labour Ministry: visa and work permit violators threaten Thai lives

They should be strict with issuance of visas and WPs. Thailand has over time let too many scumbags enter the country and doing illegal business and scams here. What I don't see is why the rules should be so lax? If you have a right to stay here there will always be a visa for you. If you are on a h...

Re: Labour Ministry: visa and work permit violators threaten Thai lives

They just don't really want anyone here now and are slowly tightening the screw. Problem is, how are you going to get people to do all the jobs the locals are too lazy to do, shun or feel it's beneath them (like construction/working in the fishing industry etc.) and still make it worthwhile so Thai...
