Reliable STD clinic in H.H..?

Since my return to H.H. I've been a naughty boy..(on more than 1 occasion).. :naughty: My thoughts now are to get a thorough sexual-health check, but Where..? 3 yrs ago I went to a clinic on Petkasem Rd (opp side & up a bit from BKK Bank)..That was for a simple Clamydia test, but I could do with...

Re: New Year - Amazing Hua Hin

So ..what was to be the busiest night of the year for nearly all the bars in HH saw them being closed as early as 8.30 ffs! The great 'countdown' to the New Yr saw sooo many bar girls all huddled together down on the beach because their place of work was shuttered by 9.30! The army were out to monit...

Re: The speed of a heart attack

Firstly.. My condolences to you HHTel on the untimely passing of your dear sis. Last year I was diagnosed with Atrial fibrillation...(uneven heart beat). Seemingly it is quite common in today's society, and I am now on daily blood-thinners to reduce the likelyhood of clots forming... But according t...

Re: Flying to/from Thailand, latest updates

So...I finally made it back yesterday! Here's a quick summary of my time coming thru' Swampy... * Our Emirates flight was the ONLY plane that was docked airside at midday. * There were 10 'Covid desks' set out before immigration and lots of chairs lined up for folk to sit & wait.. (the area was ...

Re: Flying into Thailand, latest updates

Re: Flying into Thailand, latest updates

I will give it till this time next week (11+ working days) then will e-mail/ring the London Embassy... On the plus side I've had n...

Re: Bars Soi 94

I agree about the death of Binta.. It was not the money coming in from the customers, it was what had to go out each month, and increased alarmingly year by year! Anyone hoping to open a new bar in town has a good choice of 2nd hand bar-furniture if the closed shutters of Binta gives away the closur...

Re: Flying into Thailand, latest updates

So..The country has only been opened up for a coupla days now, but what I am seeing on various sites are the growing reports of the PCR tests taken once you arrive at your AQ/SHA hotel taking well over 24 hrs for a result to come back..! So wait a mo..1 guy had his test taken at 7.30 am, by hospital...

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues

So, I decided to pull my finger out & crack on with my 90 day Non O visa application. Now my plan (cunning as always) was to book my flight for mid-Dec..plenty of time to sort things one would presume. Well, farce #1 is the webpage for London's Thai Embassy...It just had me going round & rou...

Re: Soi 80 after Covid?

Sorry this is not about Soi 80 bars, but... After being linked to a bar down Bintabaat for a good 22 years the wife has decided to keep it closed! On the announcement that the bars may well be opening again next month....The (greedy) Thai/Chinese landlady gave/offered my missus the new monthly rates...

Re: Binthabat/karaoke Areas

The rental on the small/round bars in Wonderland were set at 9,000b/month for the 1st 3 months, jumping to 12,000 from then on.. I do not know of any other 'hidden' expenses that may have to be paid..? IF W/L can keep it's customers, and the bars can thrive (without hiking the prices to much) then t...
