Re: Capacitor shop in hua hin?
There are about 30,000 capacitors listed under passive components . http://th.rs-online.com/web/c/passive-components/capacitors/ Good luck with RS Components in Bangkok. It is possible to track down part numbers, but unless you can read Thai, that is about as far as you will get. :banghead: If you ...

Re: Capacitor shop in hua hin?
As per response from Nereus request is fairly broad. RS (Radio Spares) is a company I have used frequently in the past back on Oz for the more difficult to get components and connectors.(i.e. Mil spec) They are a little more expensive but what they generally stock is good quality and tolerance (unli...

It may be a consideration for anyone anticipating transferring GBP from the UK in the near future to think about the impact BREXIT may have on fx rate.

Re: Hua Hin declared as a rabies stricken state
Problem is, I don't believe pets are the source of the problem. I agree in part with your thoughts on this. Unfortunately not all pet owners are responsible in Thailand resulting dogs not being vaccinated, being on the lose and fighting with soi dog's. When the owner moves takes the infected dog to...

Re: Hua Hin declared as a rabies stricken state
[quote="HHTel" It should be mandatory for a dog's jabs to include a rabies immunisation. Expensive but that would solve the problem over time.[/quote] We have just completed the immunization for our dog. (2 injections and a check up) The cost at the Kasetsart University hospital was less t...

Re: Hua Hin declared as a rabies stricken state
It is not a pleasant experience if you get bitten by a dog suspected of carrying the rabies virus. My son was in that unfortunate position about 15 years ago in Chiangrai. He was bitten, and whilst the dog had been vaccinated the concerns were at the time that the dog may have been fighting with othe...

Re: What happens when you cross a Bentley R with a Nissan Tiana?
Yes, I thought I'd seen a new Morgan in Hua Hin a couple of weeks ago, and I know others who saw the same car, and commented about the Morgan they'd seen. However, seeing this sports convertible, I'm not so sure it was a Morgan. I was doing the post lunchtime lap around market village and saw possi...

Re: Three-year-old dies after being left in school van
I really struggle to find words to describe this totally avoidable and terrible tragedy, resulting in an excruciatingly slow and painful death of a three year old child. The problem as mentioned is not confined to Thailand. It horrifies me to think that without early Police/Good Samaritan interventi...

What happens when you cross a Bentley R with a Nissan Tiana?
Travelling back from from Bangkok to Hua Hin yesterday and glanced in the rear view mirror and couldn't quite work out what the vehicle was about 10 cars back trying to weave its way through the traffic. Thought it was possibly an early Jag, Roller or Bentley. Got another glance as it changed lanes ...
