Re: Rip Off Hua Hin
It's probably been mentioned before... We used to visit the floating markets quite a bit (very close to us) as my kids like the train, treats and occasional toys we got them. But last visit I was made to pay 200 Baht for tourist walk in. We argued that I'm living nearby, have thai DL, housebook, non...

Re: Oil Slick puts Hua Hin Beach at it's dirtiest ever ?
I was at the beach South of Hua Hin today and didn't see any oil but some jellyfish. We were on the Soi 75 to Marakesh this evening - where were you? Tonight's walk was quite surreal i.e. as we entered the beach there must have been 3 dozen lotus flowers at 10 feet intervals along the waterline. Th...

Re: Network cable/socket installer?
Thanks for the tips Jesse! After all that info I'm tempted to try myself but as its only for one connection I'll see if I can hire someone first.

Re: Hua Hin Bluport Mall news and updates
We like the new mall. For one its closer to us as we live down Soi 102 and can come down the back streets. The kids entertainment venue is awesome, both thumbs up from my son. Also the shops have much more selection of quality goods. If anything its a bit cold!!

Re: Wanting new water tank 2'000L
I saw the different models at HomePro and one type apparently is thicker than the DOS tanks.
Upon prodding the walls the DOS tank flexed a lot more seeming thinner as the other. I forgot the brand and it did cost a bit more. They were 2000 L tanks.

Wanting new water tank 2'000L
I'm interested in installing one or two 2'000L water tanks. I saw HomePro has sand stone finish tanks for 13'990. Also i would prefer a different water level control than the standard buoy. I read about "Liquid level control switch". And i would need a pump. ;) Can anyone offer advise on b...
