Re: Plumber needed
A man the water company recommended arrived with some kind of electronic device that can listen/detect leaks under concrete, and with a jack-hammer. Sounds a man whose number is worth keeping. I understand why he's very busy. Could you share his details? If not would you just PM them to me please? ...

Re: Plumber needed
Examples per the above. I don't have a photo of the detection device he used. He did start though where the pipe(s) come out of the pump and followed the signal/noise along that particular pipe until it was the strongest where you see the hole next to the house. The pump and start of the pipe(s) is...

Re: Plumber needed
I would have the wife talk and explain directly to your water company. They should have people they can recommend that can handle hidden leaks like that. We had the same problem over here in November. A man the water company recommended arrived with some kind of electronic device that can listen/det...

Re: Thai passport renewal ... 10 years?
Disappearing Thai fathers is as common as stripes on a Zebra. There must be a special clause to cover that occurrence.

Re: Thai passport renewal ... 10 years?
It's not a one off anywhere apparently. Wife and daughter have renewed theirs twice in Pattaya and the experience was the same as described above. It seems they have implemented a well thought out and organized system country wide.

Re: Govt to cut alcohol taxes and tariffs
I don't think any reduction will be seen until all suppliers have cleared their current stocks where the old tax/duty rate has already been paid to the Government.

Frigate damaged by ammunition from another naval ship
https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2758659/frigate-damaged-by-ammunition-from-another-naval-ship This one boggles the mind. Let's pull the ship into port directly behind another ship, then we'll clear a jammed cannon shell. What could possibly go wrong? :banghead: Stay tuned as this one co...

Re: Premier League 2023-24
... although Luton have a fighting chance of escaping... I hope they do, their position doesn't reflect their performance, and they deserve to stay up. That match last night may have broken their back for the season. Something like that is hard to come back from. I fully agree though, they do deserv...

Re: The Rugby Thread
No urine extracted, but you recall I gave up on Gatland when I saw him try to turn the New Zealand Chiefs into a European battering ram team and took away most of the open, fast pace game. They finished way down the table that year in Super Rugby. I think he had a player rebellion on his hands that ...
