Re: The journey to a Yellow Book in Hua Hin
Yes, the international traveling Thai may need to show a 2nd photo ID, therefore the Thai ID card in English and Thai. The pink card foreigner can only use that here. Most Thais can't read English and can't understand his name if spoken. Only written Thai is needed on the card. There's probably logi...

Re: 2024 F1 News and Prediction League
My point was, and stated as such, is that Hamilton is/was the past for MERCEDES, nothing else. They offered him a contract, he accepted, then exercised a clause to get out of it. No clue why Mercedes would have put such a clause in. Let's see where we are at the end of the season.

Re: 2024 F1 News and Prediction League
We're a few races in now and I'll restate what I said before. Hamilton is the past. Mercedes won't throw him under the bus, but I don't expect at all that they will bend over backwards for him as they did before. Russell and ??? are the future. Pure and simple business decision. I think Russell's ca...

Interesting what he says about..."jumping ship to Ferrari..." I've just done that as well. The Arabs getting their claws into McLaren was the straw for me. At least Ferrari remains independent and are more exciting than the rest at the moment.

There's also the counting method; killed on the spot or dies later in hospital. I don't think we ever hear or see anything published about the latter.
Also, motorcycles seem to be the star of the show once again and always.

Re: Football (not Premier League)
Quite a match BB! I didn't see it but was following it on the BBC LIVE site. Plymouth should now be energized hopefully to go the distance for the remaining games. Leicester are now saying "the wheels are coming off".

Bangkok this morning: "Bangkok, a deserted city with "empty cars and sparse people," first day of Songkran holiday. . PPTV photographers travel around capturing images of traffic in Bangkok. In the areas of Rama 1, Rama 4, Ratchaprasong and Victory Monument roads from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00...

Re: Which Mobile Phone?
...... the older you are, the more likely you are to keep hold of it for longer. That's the truth. I think I'm on year 5 or 6 with mine now. Older folks aren't working so no need to make a lot of business calls and communications, and they aren't burning it up watching YouTube, TicTok, Facebook. Th...

Also note, some phones will end up being collector items in future years, so hang on to those old units hidden away in your drawer!

Re: Which Mobile Phone?
Human nature is strange for sure. Phones are going up in screen size and weight and they may be back to the weight of the original "brick" phones before too long. I was a big fan of Motorola flip phones, especially the RAZR. I've read they're making them again, but Motorola is now ...
