I've been, but not for a while.

Close to where Sathorn and Rama 3 meet. By taxi ask for German Tawan Daeng. Big place, very popular, laid out like German beer cellar, loud music, talented musicians, good food especially the pork, fun place, a must visit.

Coarse Fishing Syndicate

Hi Landscape3, I would be interested in forming a syndicate to set up a private freshwater fishery close to Hua Hin. Traditional Thai Duck and Pork Restaurant

One of my favourite eating places is a duck and pork restaurant on Soi Thonglor, BKK.

I've been searching for a similar restaurant in HH without success, can any one recommend?

It is okay posting these concerns, but does any one have any ideas how these concerns can be brought to the attention of the appropriate local authority, without offending anyone, with a view of getting some action. There needs to be proper parking facilities throughout the town especially near the center. The road that leads down to the beach between the Bazaar and Soffitel is always a nightmare with cars trying to find "non existant" parking spots and having to u turn their way back out. Parking met...

Thai Visa Issued in Taiwan

There is a Thai Trade Office in Taipei which doubles up as a consulate and issues visas.

Your friend should be able to get a 60 day tourist visa there.
