I have been swimming alot at the beaches in HH but mainly south of Baan laksubha hotel and mostly at khao takiab.

Never felt the water was dirty but the beches was littered with tourists sometimes

I spent 8 weeks in HH and felt as safe as at home. There was a few dogs that looked at me a few nights and followed me but other than that it felt like home

I spent around 7 weeks in Romantic Bar and never had any problems with anything . Really nice ppl there except the few odd ones that drops in sometimes
