Re: DTAC superdeal....too good to be true????
I'm not sure about the deal but mobile data is cheap as chips in Thailand. Buying 3GB data at 4G costs me £20 in the UK but 49THB in Thailand so it's entirely believable this deal could be genuine. As for the 800Mhz question, I haven't considered it. I'm on AIS and my phone is quad-band so along wi...

Re: Best Hua Hin tailors?
What would the price be for a couple of cotton shirts large size. I know that would be very changable, I am just looking for example costs from people who have had some made Cheers There is only one way to get comparative prices and that is to go yourself into numerous shops, take a sample of the m...

Re: Khao Soi in Hua Hin?
Just moved here from Uttaradit. It costs 35 baht there and always good. I will try to find a few places to eat it and report back. If you do not know what it should taste like, don't advise people. I have been looking for quality som tham since movinhg here, and it all tastes terrible. Strange as i ...

Re: Which Mobile Phone?
I've used gearbest, geekbuying and merimobiles. Always use postal service, with tracking, for delivery. Using a courier like UPS or DHL is likely to result in duty fees, despite the fact that duty should be zero due to China ASEAN FTA. I and a friend once bought a cubot phone each. My model had the...

I'm sure Mr oak had a reason for his reply. I am used to forums, and understand how time lines can become blurred.
I ask the question because people say they are saving a lot of money, but there is no mention of prices.
perhaps I need to get off my lazy ar** and go have a chat

Re: Internett in La Vallee
Ignore the "max speed" marketing promo, they are speeds within Thailand so you'll only get close to that 30Mb if surfing Thai websites. Fiber is a lot more stable than copper but your "speed" will be determined by the bandwidth your ISP can provide. They told me at True that The...
