Re: Hua Hin Golf Gossip
Back in Hua Hin after 6 months in UK and concerned to hear about the poor condition of the greens at Majestic Creek as I am a member there. I posted my concerns that they were deteriorating about 9-10 months ago and that the greenkeeper didn't seem to know what he was doing, glad to see action has ...

Re: Majestic Creek Country Club & Resort
The big mistake that Majestic does is take full green fee when the greens are so bad, lower the price by 30% so maybe people have more understanding and forgiveness for the bad quality green while you are trying to get them in order. As it is, it is no wonder if you play once and never again, felt j...

Re: Hua Hin Golf Gossip
Since when did Thai start to think in long term?
BM is probably the best course for public and compare with Banyan there is a little bit more room for parking..
Banyan is a nice golfcourse, but in this case BM is a better event course.

Re: Hua Hin Golf Community
Hi guys. I´m new on this nice forum and have been living in HH for some time now, but I have not played any golf since september last year. I had problem with my elbows (tennis arm) but now it feels ok and I am cruelly eager to start playing again. My hcp is 17.1 but after not one shot for so long t...

Re: Recent Internet Speeds
When you test internet speed from here you can not expect to get full speed to sites i Europe.
To check your internet you shall use for ex 3bb´s test at http://speedtest.3bb.co.th/
I have adsl 13/1 and sometime every week my speed drops down to 2 mb, then it´s time to reboot the router.

Re: Long Term Rental In Hua Hin
Just remember to bargain, a lot.. Otherwise you destroy the market coz as someone said it what people are willing to pay that set the price, so bargain. I pay 25000/month for a big 3 bedroom fully furnished house, only 4 years old located right next to the communal swimmingpool and this is in one of...

Re: @tletic: Better than your average car park restaurant
I eat dinner at @teltic today and the first impression was nice menu and resonable price, till they serve the food.. Very small portions, I had to order one more dish and then it was not nice price anymore. But ok food, I order the spaghetti with crispy bacon, chilli, garlic, cheese and sweet basil ...

Re: Information on V Bar (was up2u bar)
One thing I always wonder about is why the staff turn up the volume of the music the later it gets, and often more volume than the sound system are bulit for. Around 11 pm it´s impossible to have a normal chat in a bar and that get at least me leaving the place. If you look at the average age to th...

Re: @tletic: Better than your average car park restaurant
Great Restaurant. Especially the Fish & Chips. (I just boycott those racists of the @letic gym because of their double pricing) I will give the restaurant a try but same as you, I don´t like the pricing in @letic so I´m looking for another more resonable gym, do you know any? [ Mod Edit ] Gym d...

Re: International driving license and motorbikes
And be aware that you are not covered by Insurance unless you have a Thai DL. With an International DL you are not covered. Read the fine print if you lease a car. Have a great trip! Thanks! So you mean that the only way to be real safe is with a Thai license? I thought that a valid Swedish car lic...

Re: International driving license and motorbikes
You can drive a 50 cc motorbike without any driverlicense it runs about 50-60 kmh I don´t belive this is true, do you have a source on that? What I heard you need licens for all kinds of motorbikes here, the only limit is that if you are under 16 years old then 110cc is the biggest bike you are alo...
