Re: Aircon engineer - recommendations?

I've never used these guys, but they came highly recommended on another thread related to A/Cs, so I made a note of them in my "Hua Hin Useful Crap" folder on my Note:

Mr. Too 0813537587
Mt. Nee 0899999309

Good luck

I agree, I think you certainly do, along with a large dose of courteousness towards your fellow Forum members.

I live in the Middle East and picked this up on the BBC World Service news whilst driving home from work the day it happened, however this is a forum not only for enlightenment, but also for discussion, so why shouldn't it be posted, even after the fact :thumb:

Not necessarily, as the article also states "The reversals are relatively quick, taking place in April and October." so it's entirely possible that for at least part, if not all, of those 2 months there are 2 tides/day

Re: HomePro / Thai Watsadu

Since you are a Skywards silver member I guess you're familiar with the Emirates fleet but for anyone that isn't I would recommend the A380 when flying in business class. Business on the B777 is absolutely not bad but they have seven seat in each row in a 2-3-2 configuration. On the A380 there is o...

Why would reclaimed land be a problem BB? Huge swathes of Holland and Singapore, to mention just a couple of the many, are built on reclaimed land.

Re: Thailand wins for worst traffic in world

Just listened to a report on the BBC World Service radio programme "Business Matters". that quoted a survey carried out by the Dutch GPS company TomTom, that has China as the most congested country in the world and Mexico City as the most congested city. So not all bad for Thighland ...

Re: Emirates flight charges to BKK

In an effort to beat the competition all of these airlines now seem to be offering super economy tickets with absolutely no extras. So they'll rape you if you want to select a seat in advance, increase your baggage or change the flight dates. The next level up "economy flex" or whatever t...

Re: Hua Hin - Pattaya ferry project news and updates

I see the promotional cost for a VIP cabin (seats 8 ) is 14,000 Baht, but I've seen nothing about the promotional cost of Business Class, which is the one I'm most interested in. Any idea what you get for Thb 1,750 per person, aside from the chance to get sea sick in, presumably reasonably comforta...

Re: Good reasonable fare taxi service

We've been paying THB3,000 to the same guy since we started visiting HH 10 years ago. I am sure many will consider that we have been getting royally ripped off all these years and we did think about changing, however the guy is 100% dependable, a good safe driver with reliable vehicles and more impo...
