Re: End of Term Tests. Understanding the Grades

Is that the Thai Somtawin or the English Somtawin? The English Somtawin on the Pa-La-U road maximum grade point average is 4 (given for scores between 80 to 100%). Other GPA above zero start at 50%, so a 2.51 average would be around 65% overall. Alright, then my comment is Thai Somtawin. That's why...

Re: End of Term Tests. Understanding the Grades

Hi Mr.Plum, In Thailand school, the grades are as Follows: 1 = Poor ( Need to keep on eyes) 2 = Low (need to improve) 3 = Good 4 = Excellent As in my opinion, your Thai daughter's grade was 2.51, she is about the average, but anyhow she has to improve herself, or at least keep 2.50 of grade in every...

Hi all,

The taste of food most is good, I have been there very often, but since I moved to Mon Mai area its quite far away for me to stop for lunch out there. I would recommend both Thai and Farang to try once.

Re: Gaz for cooking, help!!!!

There is one small family shop in Bon Kai area (Soi 88). From Soi 102 there is a rough short cut road to Soi 94 (Soi Jaruen Pattana 2), and further to Soi 88. It's hard for me to tell you the exact location. But, you can ask someone near by.

Re: Looking for quality home builder in Hua Hin

For a very good builder I used to have him to build a house, he quoted me at 12,000 - 15,000 baht per sq. m. depends on the quality of the material i.e. tiles, sanitary, doors and windows, which it should be an option. He also used the foamed concrete blocks and very good finishing.
