Nightlife in Kan is very tame, there are a few little bars on the road that runs upto the bridge. The Apache saloon is worth a visit, especially for the live entertainment :D

No idea about your resort.

Rich, welcome to the board. In previous years the powers that be let places stay open till the wee hours of the morning. Best bet for good entertainment, live music etc is the Hilton. Stayed open until 6am last year. Also theres Rockestra II, another live music venue with good food a few K's out of ...

All over the place, take a look down some of the sois, Salawat, Rainoon, Behind the Grand etc. For that price you should get 2 bedroom fully furnished. Unfurnished places go for 4-5000 baht.

yes, City Beach is definately 'girl friendly' , there was an MP there, now its a disco called Star Planet. There is a similar one at Phetch Barber, take a stroll around the bars , i'm sure you'll find something to your liking :cheers:

The Evason is around 30km south of Hua Hin. The beach there is a little erroded compared to that in town but as far as I'm aware there's no 'work' being done on it.
