A lot of confused weather patterns just now. Looks like the SW Monsoon is weakening and starting to swing around to the North East.

^ Yes, look at all the High pressure pushing in from the north, and the Lows going further south. The winter pattern I think. Pete

I have been using this very handy link http://weather.tmd.go.th/bma_nkLoop.php for a few days since it was posted on here (thank you). Very good for predicting when the rain is going to land here.
It seems to have stopped working for me as of yesterday..........is it the same for everyone.

That happens sometimes with all of them issued/controlled by the Thai TMD (weather bureau). The date at the bottom of the image is still 10/31. It will pop back to current eventually. Sometimes various radar goes down completely in which case you'll see "No Data" printed across the image. Pete

One thing that hasn't stopped, is the rain - I've only been back in Thailand 5 days and have had to pump water from the swimming pool twice and it's still just 2cm from the top. The garden is sodden everywhere - without a doubt, the wettest rainy season of my 6th year living here.

Where I live, yes, there's been a lot over the last few days, but we had a long dry period leading up to it. Probably the most sustained wet period since I've lived here, but a few days don't make a season.

Whatever, the water is very welcome :D

The Weather Radar is working correctly as I type this.
It's reliably unreliable! Well, TIT...

P.S. I can't remember the site crashing before I poster the link to it!

We had a dramatic thunderstorm right over our house last night. Bucket loads of rain and thunder and lightening. I was expecting it, as my favourite map had a rather dark blue blob blowing our way. Just checked the forecast for tonight, and it looks like you may have something coming your way.
