This is the second time rumors have spread about a Big C. A few years ago it was supposed to be just south of the flyover and the recent rumor is north of town next to Makro. Big C = Tesco imo so I would rather see a Tops or Foodland (which was also rumored years ago, that Foodland had bought property on Nebkahardt road).

They'll all be built including Central right after Hua Hin Disneyland is completed.

  Yes, but wouldn't it make more sense not to spread the rumours in the first place...?
We're only discussing this because it's NOT going to happen, apparently!
This is the way

TESCO are building a new outlet at Tha Yang, but it does not appear to be a "full size" outlet, just bigger than the "express" type.

it would be nice to have a big C , especially in the north end of hua hin ,it would save me and the missus having to fight our way through the traffic into town lol

i prefer big C to tesco as well and cant understand why there isn't one in hua hin ....

tops is pretty good as well, the one in pattaya even has a bowling ally above it !

OK lets get back to square one, nothing is going to happen with any new store like these being wished , wanted, or not, we in Hua Hin area are stuck with fighting traffic and other stimulating gestures with our fingers etc. to get to Tesco at Market Village.

Tesco at Market Village.
Which is still low on stock from the flood supply chain disruption. We went yesterday and they were out of about half the items we went there for. The only water they had was a couple of the expensive imported brands like Evian and Volvic.

Is the new Makro open? To everybody or just to retailers?

The new Makro between HH and ChaAm is already signed up and looks - from the outside anyway - just about ready to go.
Building work is also well underway on the new complex just north of ChaAm which will have fairground stuff, shops etc and looks pretty swish if the pics are anything to go by. The land right beside it is cleared and ready for (I am told) Central who are expected to start building when the first complex is ready.
(Can't remember the sodding name - something mediterranean...)

My wife and sister in law went shopping at the new Makro yesterday
and skyped me to tell me about it. They said it was like Costco but with more food
and less furniture and hard goods.
I think anyone can shop there...not just for retailers

Usual Suspect... the new large structure between HH and Cha am (opposite Dusit Thani) is an electrical wholesaler (don't know the name of the store0.
