Washed up oil in Hua Hin on Saturday 20 April

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone else noticed this and where it came from but I saw some kind of substance that looked like oil and had a funky smell washed up on Saturday.
I know that it washed up around the HH airport area but also learned from a friend the situation was the same at Marakesh.

Does anyone know what it is and where it comes from??
Not sure if it's life threatening but can't be good either..

Looks like sewerage or effluent of some kind. As you say, rather unpleasant!

I walk the beach regularly to Khao Takieb and I've seen that frothy stuff plenty of times before. Maybe it only happens at certain times of year because it's not in evidence most of the time?
Don't recall seeing the greenish stuff before.

Nothing in evidence early this morning near to the old Marriot area up to the Tsunami warning post.

After the high tide the following day it was gone and haven't seen it back since...

Let's hope it stays this way.
