The 'old' Sakura is still there! They will continue to have both restaurants.

Thank you - I'll try to get the old one retained as well on the map (I'd already removed it  ).

I was in BEERGARDEN at lunchtime and wanted some german food, seen on their menu card on the website. But they said, german food only in the evening. Strange.

Mrs M and I were talking about that yesterday, how many Thai restaurants advertise something, or have it on the menu, but when you order, they don't have.

I guess I would rather do without than eat something over ordered from last week, but would be nice to know early what isn't available.

I see there is a place doing exactly the same foods and using exactly the same name just outside the Market Town Food Court.

Teppanyaki is a preparation style. The restaurant biz has long since focused on the dishes suitable to the style that non-Japanese enjoy. Walk into a Teppanyaki joint not in a Japanese neighborhood and the menu will be DejaVu.

Looks like Saiboo went out of business. Signs are gone, one open roll-up door showed a mostly empty space inside.

Looks like Castaway managed to find a buyer. Sign now says 'Siam Square 94' I think.

That location never seems to do well.
