Lotus Suites (a hotel I must drive past 100 times a month, and had never noticed before ops)

Adjacent to Lotus Suites is The Rise, adjacent to that is Baan Padyen. Agoda lists The Rise as a hotel, the sign at Baan Padyen says 'rooms to rent'. Oops.

So many properties in Hua Hin have rooms to rent outside, we tend to ignore just that as an indication of Hotel.

Also, there are so many condos with names outside, unless we see an indication of hotel or guest house, we tend to ignore it.

We will look harder at those properties next time - thank you for bringing them to our notice.

Great to see the pictures of all the bars. I am glad to see there is still lots
of watering hole in the city. Just wondering which watering holes some
locals members of this forum frequent. I will be in Hua Hin about Jan
15 to 30th. I would like to meet some of the guys and ladies who I
see their aliases all the time

Ryan of Saxaphone Lounge is in Phuket and is the manager of a pub called Bentleys next to the Anatara Beach Resort

Outside the map, but still Soi 94 (further up the soi), we have Pit's Cafe. This one is situated inside the "Dusit Land and House 8" area. Decent food and two excellent Brunswick tournament tables for pool.

Sasa bar is now Tiki.

Chinese restaurant is now a Sports Bar/Coffe Shop at least that's what the sign says, can't remember the exact name as it isn't a name I've heard before.

The old Saxophone has re opened as another music venue. Looked to be aimed at Thai's as all customers on Thursday were Thai. Sign says Hua Hin in English then some Thai script.

Sakura buffet at the Perma Sap market is now called Mr Grill Buffet.

Nana Klein's Bar has moved round the corner on Soi 94 to next door to the LARF office building.

Duans restaurant next to Mekong Cafe is now O & T restaurant, selling reasonably priced Thai & Western food similar prices to previous owner.

I guess Sakura made people think that it was just Japanese food--Their Jap food is excellent but there is much more. Its not cheap but its very good.

Coopers 94 Bar is now called Mausi Bar and Coopers 94 is due to relocate to the ground floor of the new guest house built on the corner of soi 94/Soi Charon Pattana 2 after Pizza Garden.
