There were only 9 Heroes on parade for the last clean of the year. There was not a lot of rubbish around, and the only managed to collect 3Kg. However, that is still 3Kg less trash on an already clean beach. It is still a good effort - well done guys.

What a truly great effort by all concerned.

But, what happens to all this trash once it is collected? Does it end up in a land fill, suitable bits recycled, or handed over to the department that should be collecting it in the first place? Is there any central recycling facility that takes it and sorts it out?

I'm sorry, but I'm a bit late with Sunday's report.

28 volunteers turned up to help to help clean South Takiab Beach on a beautiful day last Sunday. They managed to clear 70Kg of rubbish from the beach.

Thanks for the updates - contrary to popular belief not everybody uses Farcebook so good to see here.

You guys are lucky in Hua Hin where you have bins and organized refuse collection.
