1. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
2. War Horse.

I thought about having a night in Bangkok and doing some shopping in MBK but I just want to get to Hua Hin ASAP :D

Up north if you can find DVDs they are normally crap C rated films at double the price they should be.

I have both of these. In fact I have the Millenium Trilogy (all the 3 "Girl" titles - original versions, not the latest Hollywood pap!). No Thai subtitles though.

PM me if you are interested in finding out how to get them yourself.

Otherwise, if you must have Thai subtitled films, there's a stall just outside Lotus in Market Village selling good quality DVD's for 79 baht - oldies, but goodies (Killing Fields, Donnir Brasco, Papillon, Gangs pf New York, etc.).
I used to be indecisive - but now I'm not so sure!

Agreed, she always has great copies both English and Thai. I have only been shopping from her for about 6 months now but I've been buying about 1 DVD per week from her.

Most of the "New" DVD's that she has hidden behind the counter have outstanding sound and picture quality. Almost (not quit) a master copy. Also most of the English movies like Snow White and the Huntsman (Picked it up yesterday 08 SEP 2012) have both English and Thai soundtracks with near perfect Thai subtitles so my Thai GF tells me.

I only wish that the Market Villa movie theater was as good as her at providing English soundtrack moves. A man can dream right?

They are 80 baht each and we have never gotten a bad one from her. She keeps the latest ones in a big stack behind the counter so ask if they are not out and she will let you browse the stack.
