Hi all,
I'm looking for someone to come empty, clean and sterilize my 1000 liter underground plastic water holding tank please. I would do it myself but due to my disability I'm not physically able to.
My tank has a buildup of brown residue and the water is also murky now. Yes I have used the proper amount of bleach to sterilize the water but that does not clean the tank.
Any help would be great. (company name, person's name, mobile number, website, anything
Thanks!

There was a company, new I think, dropping leaflets around Soi 94 a few weeks ago and they came with a Farang and a Thai lady and a Thai worker and cleaned neighbours tanks. I've thrown the leaflet away but if you don't get any replies I will ask my neighbours for their number when I see them.

I remembered that leaflet, and told Mrs BB to put it somewhere safe. A bit late, but she's found the leaflet this morning.

So here's a question, how often should tanks be cleaned?

That's the same as the classic question of: "how long is a piece of string". Too many variables such as the quality and cleanliness of the water to start with. The size of the tank and how often the contents get turned over. The material the tank is constructed from. Is it underground or on the surface where the sun will affect it. etc. etc.

May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!

Granted, it is quite an open question. Is there any received wisdom, however, or a rule of thumb such as "about once a year" or "every other year"? Perhaps there are people who don't see the point of cleaning them at all.
I haven't had my 2k litre, surface, grey, sturdy plastic tanks that are filled with government water and turned over every few weeks cleaned in the five years I've had them. Does that make me an undesirable?

Which is yet another unknown length of string!

Absolutely! But you can come to visit as at least you know what a storage tank type heater is.
