Is there a DHL drop off office in Hua Hin, if not where is the closest office.

OK, I know you can do the Thai style EMS from the post offices to other countries etc, but I must say that I am surprised (thanks to Norseman pointing out the nearest place) that there's no DHL office service in HH.

Hell, they have a DHL office where I am and it's not even close to as foreigner busy as HH.

I doubt the expat market is DHLs biggest. You're more likely to find offices in industrial or commercial areas I would think.

TNT deliver it Hua Hin so it might be worthwhile phoning them to see if they collect as well. Otherwise I can confirm the nearest office is Bangkok someone I know has just been up to Bangkok just to post his passport off via DHL.

If HH doesn't have DHL or Fed EX etc then how do you folks there send your passports to HongKong for renewal?

Who do you use?

Do you have to go out of town now?

There used to be a DHL office near the Tessabahn; closed a couple of years ago. I get deliveries all the time from Fedex (got one this week) They come down from Bangkok on a daily basis I think and I think you can arrange a pickup. Having said that, I've used EMS for everything important since I've lived here and never had a problem.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

TNT do a daily pick up and delivery to Hua Hin but there is no pickup point.. You just phone them and they come to you address.

In the last 3 hours I've had 2 texts and an e-mail saying don't go out, DHL are on their way with a delivery. FFS, where are they coming from? Chiang Mai? I need to go to Bangkok later, and need to get things ready, which involves going out - not impressed.

You'd have been better off telling them "don't worry I'm on my way to BKK so will collect it myself" TIT!!
