Jeremy Zero wrote:Hi, do you know if the bike shop in Pranburi will deliver? I'd like to get a bike, but short of walking there from Hua Hin, I'd have to rent a motor scooter to reach the store and I'm not sure how I'd get back with both.
you can take the orange bus or a minivan to Pranburi and then a motorbike taxi to the shop.

The red bus terminus is only a short walk from the bike shop

If you're just looking for a cheap bike, I think Tesco sells them (the big Tesco at MV)... a rack of them on the left side after you go in the door near the exercise equipment.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Just to let you know another member of the forum has purchased a bike from the Pranburi bike shop and was very impressed with the service and price. He also bought his padded cycling shorts there.

They have a range of bikes, but i didn't see any treks,or giants, the one i bought was a german brand called merida.
What i liked was the thai owner measured me up and built one to fit me.
Its a husband/wife shop and i think they will offer a good after service as well.
Like sarge said, the wife speaks good english, helpful but not pushy.
They stock mtbs and road bikes as well as the usual stock of kids novelty bikes.
reasonable quality brand new bikes actually started as low as 4000bht,much better quality than the 7000bht tesco mtb

Hi Elvina, thank you, but I already have a bike now. If you want to sell your bike, maybe put an advertisement in the classifieds section.
