Normally, you phone and they pick up from your place.

At Sirada -The Learning Centre, we use FedEx quite a lot for delivery of visa documents to Ed Visa applicants... with mixed delivery time results.
We are a little amazed today. We sent 2 packages to France on Tuesday.... one to an address near Paris and this was delivered yesterday morning. The other one to countryside. It was delivered this afternoon.

Re: FedEx now have office in Hua Hin
Update for that FedEx number in Hua Hin.
You need to dial 1782 which puts you through to Fedex's main office.
You make an appointment, tell them what you are sending, they give you a price, and if all is well, they will call the courier and he comes round and picks it up from your address at an agreed time.
The guys who pick it up are the 090 880 3800 people, but you can't deal direct with them.

Re: FedEx now have office in Hua Hin
Does anybody know if that is a true FedEx office, or a franchised/contracted office? I get a discount on shipping, but need to use a bona fide FedEx office. I have used the one in the Green Building on Rama 4 in Bangkok. Even though I don't often ship things, it would be nice to have a local office.
Re: FedEx now have office in Hua Hin
Almost certainly it's a franchise. The guy who answers the local number organises a driver to come to your home to pick up your parcel(s).
It wasn't a FedEx liveried van and the driver wore no uniform or anything to suggest he was a Fedex employee.
He does give you an official FedEx mailing receipt though.
Probably not enough custom to operate a full-time office. DHL were here a while ago but they have shut up shop.
FYI, an A4 sized jiffy bag with eight sheets of paper and a passport cost me 1586 baht, Hua Hin to Kuala Lumpur.

I just sold a house in the USA and had to send 37 sheets of A4 paper at the fastest possible way (so I did not use my discount) and FedEx cost only B987. It was delivered in 48 hours.
Thanks for the info about the place.

Re: FedEx now have office in Hua Hin
Is the FedEx service still functioning in HH? In the FedEx official Thailand website searching HH gives nothing, not registered service in HH? Maybe better to go to Bangkok to DHL or FedEx official?
Re: FedEx now have office in Hua Hin
Does FedEx have an office in Hua Hin?
If not, is the DHL service point in BluPort open for business?
Thank you.

AFAIK DHL in Bluport basement is still up and running.
If you are in or planning to visit Bangkok there seems to be a Skynet office there. I used them for 12 years in Dubai because they were much (much) cheaper than DHL/FEDEX and the service was excellent. I don't have experience of their Thai office though.
On Skynet.net website the details are shown as:
Station Code BKK
Company Name DPX LOGISTICS
Address 60 SOI AREE 5 NORTH, PHAHOLYOTHIN ROAD,
Zipcode 10400
City and State SAMSENNAI, PHAYATHAI, BANGKOK
Country THAILAND
Telephone +66 2 2782900
Fax +66 2 2782900
