Desperately seeking a company to move furniture from Hua Hin

Post by BMWHuaHin »

...to Cha-am.

The drive is no more than 15 kilometres.

I have a few things that I would like to be delivered carefully. One is a 60" TV. Others include a few office chairs, a desk, and so on.

I have Googled this like crazy - and even found some threads here discussing it - but all threads are old and phone numbers are out of date.

Any help or suggestions much appreciated.

If it's just a few things like you say, why do you not hire a truck from one of the hire company's on this site.

I don't have any kind of packaging material.

I need some box / bubble wrap to cover the TV in fully, as well as the desk which is largely made of glass.

Are there no companies that specialise in this?

Budget is not an issue.

I think you'll find that most of the specialist removal companies are based in Bangkok - if you look you'll no doubt find them but they may not be prepared to do such a short journey, and/or they would be very expensive. Also check this out viewtopic.php?f=10&t=18238

Thai Watsado (spelling) have cardboard boxes, packing materials, tape, etc.

For 15km you are unlikely to find a removal company willing to come and help you. Why not hire a pickup for a couple of days and some willing hands to help for a day or so wages. It's not about cost but then you are in control.

So does HomePro about halfway back on the left hand side... 3 sizes of boxes and lots of different packing materials including bubble wrap. We used their wares when we moved in town last year and then just did most of it ourselves and hired two pickup loads for the furniture.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Sounds like you are moving from the City to the burbs. Or as you say Hua Hin to Cha AM.
My friend used a pickup for his move and it turned out to be cheaper than
any other way, plus he got some pics and it looked like a good adventure.
Good Luck
