Big THANKS to maccastime for starting this thread and the mention of SOI 16. Took myself off down there this morning with a copy of the posting receipt from UK........ after a few minutes of looking parcel found in a side office. It was a bit battered but all inside was intact. No explanation as to when it got there or why it was still there but I have it now and am a happy bunny. THANKYOU to all that contributed too

Having the same problem (not in Hua Hin though) - always happens in April when Thailand virtually closes down for the month and the posties cant be arsed to go back to work in the stifling heat afterwards!

^ Have you checked the tracking number for the registered post? If it's been delivered and signed for you can ask to check the signature at Soi 16. You could also check where they sent it to. If it shows as undelivered it should have gone back to the sender. If the registered mail was sent from overseas you can maybe contact the originating postal service.

Received today a moon pig.com card sent on 7th April so just over 3 weeks which seems to be normal allowing for the holiday. I once had a parcel sent to Western Australia from the UK and it took nearly two months, one of those spent in Perth awaiting clearance according to the tracking so things are not that bad here.

You should ask the insurance company for the tracking number. If it was sent registered they have one.
