Birthday Cards

Anyone know of any shops around town that sell birthday cards?

Sorry if this reply is irrelevant if you are looking for Hallmark-style cards with birthday verse as I wouldn't know where to get them (though I think I have seen small selections in Villa Market and book shops). I keep a stash of beautiful, good quality hand-made cards, blank inside, that I buy from stalls in Bintabaht and Cicada market (is there a stall in the night market too?) and they are always appreciated by the recipient as they are so individual compared to the usual offerings. But of course you will have to copy soppy birthday poems from Google to write in them if that's your thing

Good quality hand-made cards - sounds fine to me. I would prefer blank inside anyway.

Hi all,

Will be arriving in Hua Hin in November. My wife is going to bring her card selling business with her. The cards will be in transit and not available until Mid December however will post all of the details (start a thread) when she is up and running. Hope this helps.

I did find a normal type birthday card in a small supermarket in town. Just opposite the main Police Station and about a 100m or so towards the beach side. No idea what it is called but the cards are on the left as soon as you walk in. Don't expect a huge selection though. Wife buys her off some handicapped chap in the markets in town somewhere. No idea of which one exactly.

I know someone in town who is a hobby crafter. The woman is really talented and makes some beautiful hand crafted cards. Very individual and she is able to personalise greetings, names ages etc.
