As per response from Nereus request is fairly broad. RS (Radio Spares) is a company I have used frequently in the past back on Oz for the more difficult to get components and connectors.(i.e. Mil spec) They are a little more expensive but what they generally stock is good quality and tolerance (unlike some of the product from China) They do have a branch in Bangkok and can probably mail you what you require.
I have attached a link to their website

There are about 30,000 capacitors listed under passive components .

Good luck with RS Components in Bangkok. It is possible to track down part numbers, but unless you can read Thai, that is about as far as you will get.Bluesky wrote:There are about 30,000 capacitors listed under passive components .

If you had of pressed the icon above the shopping cart in the top right hand corner of the link it would have brought up the help screen in English. Which gives you o line access during business hours to assist with your purchase or simply sending a message with your requirements.Nereus wrote:Good luck with RS Components in Bangkok. Yes, I know that. I have a gibberish email from them that is supposed to show how to use the site in English. The instructions are written in Thai! I have sent an EMS letter to them about 10 days ago, which has been ignored. If you had of pressed the icon above the shopping cart in the top right hand corner of the link it would have brought up the help screen in English. Tried calling them and nobody speaks English.

Re: Capacitor shop in hua hin?
Yes, good advice. Also the TV repair shops. If it is a motor start capacitor there is a rewind shop in the block of shop houses in front of Home Pro. The last shop going south. He shares the shop with a car mechanic and does not speak English.cookie102 wrote:There is an electrical repair shop in on the railway road at the top of the night market and I would imagine they would have capacitors for TV's and the like, but if it is for motors and aircon's would suggest the aircon service people.

Re: Capacitor shop in hua hin?
I am looking for a shop that sells this. It is a motor start capacitor for an air conditioner. My air conditioner repair shop sells them, 1500bt each, which I believe is way overpriced.

Re: Capacitor shop in hua hin
There is a shop soi 102 that does a range of repairs to A/Cs etc. he has a good stock of electrolytic capacitors including the value your looking for. Price about 250 baht. Speaks a little English but if you take specs I pm'd to you or a pic you should be ok. He often is not back to his shophouse until after 5 so I suggest you ring him first.Jesse wrote:Here is the photo of what I am looking for.
