Any Cobblers?

Post by pensorter »

That is - Shoe repair tradespeople.
Yes I fully understand that about 90% of the population here use throwaway slip-on sandals, so it's a big ask!
But I have a pair of Redback boots with virtually new leather uppers, but rubber soles that have died in storage.
It seems a shame to just throw them out.
Any directions to/experience or location of handy repair person?
Cheers.

If you head up towards the railway crossing at the Chomsin Road traffic lights and just as you approach the crossing the turning on the left but on the opposite (railway side of the road) there is a shop about 2 in from the end that does shoe repairs - I have had them repair a few of mine and have always been happy with their work and price - not necessarily a fast turn around but unless you are in a hurry, worth giving them a try.

In Pranburi
Turn left of Petkasem Rd at fort Tannarat
100 meters on the left hand side across from the gate at Rak Rattaya school.
Very inexpensive have used to resole golf shoes and stitch sandals.
Work completed on both within a few hours and top class.

Thanks Guys!!
Used the guy near the railway.
Because of my big feet he's had to order in the soles, but quoted 650B.
Looks fair.
