Long clamps

Post by Farang »

We are repairing furniture at an orphanage and are in need of long clamps, parallel or f-types or some such arrangement with jaw width more than 50 cm.

Has anyone seen anywhere such clamps. We would like to rent/borrow but are prepared also to buy.

Your advise is appreciated.

Thai Watsadu has them. I bought a pair at approx 1M long.
I'm not in HH this week but the following weekend you are welcome to borrow them, if you need such long clamps, to save you cost.

I have two pipe clamps that are as long as the pipe is long. One has the pipe and the other just the clamps that fit over the pipe. Problem is that I live in the south 70 km from Surat Thani and would have to ship them to you. PM me and lets see if we can work something out.

Thank you, gentlemen, for your kind offers, and my apologies for the late reply. We now are coping by using ratchet belts instead of F-clamps. The job seems to grow while we do it, and new repairs appear, so we'll be busy for some while now.

But, as said, we are coping.
