Government water and electricity rates.

Post by Ericg »

I just rented a house in HH for a long term lease and was wondering what the government rates are for water and electricity.

Thanks

About 4.5 to 5 baht per unit electricity; calculation depends on amount used, tariffs etc but this is about a standard residential user.
Water has a base charge of 50 baht and then 10 baht per unit and goes up the more you use. If more than 50 units you will be considered an industrial user and therefore be charged more.

Condos and such tend to charge their own rates so find out before renting.
