Scooter hire

Do they require a driving licence to hire a scooter? And can I give them a photocopy of my passport? Any deposit, credit card or insurance required? Thanx

License not required although the police are checking for them now. Copy of passport should be okay, insuranse inclusive although you're not really covered for anything anyway as you're not Thai!
