I will be driving down to Ranong's Andaman Club around the 11th/12th May, Does anyone need to go for a visa-stamp also around this time?
I drive steady & keep to around 90kph. Cheers now..U.S.

Is this the closest/easiest visa run? I have done it before a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Which option would you recommend for an elderly and disabled chap (not me)
Enjoying 'Retirement'....So many jobs to do, I don't know how I ever had time to work!

Border run, remember - big difference!! 
On a visa run you go to a Thai embassy or consulate to get a visa.
On a border run you cross a border and return to get a new entry stamp in your passport.

If someone is disabled, then the long tail boats are definitely off the menu. The Andaman Club run would be best. Easy getting on and off the boat and comfortable - from what I remember from years ago.
