Thanks for the stats, Lev!

Just out of interest, I assume you delete members who have stopped logging in after a certain period?

How long do you allow before they get the chop?

What's the difference regarding the amount of posts made here in June 2015 to that of last year June 2014... then again to June 2013.

Just curious.

:D

Unfortunately due to the political situation in Thailand and economic situation globally the number of posts/visitors for this year is down on the same period last. People are not as interested in Thailand/Hua Hin in 2015, a look around town and observation of the number of business closures will confirm this. This is the first year since we started in 2001 that there will be no consecutive rise, our research leads us to believe that this is the case for the majority Thailand farang websites though.

I would think that Russian visitors would be a significant part of that decrease, as well as Ukrainian.

Koh Tao murder trial farce circus starts today. I am sure people will be following this with interest and the focus will be more on the Thai justice system.
With the junta running the show and the high number of tourist injuries and fatalities it doesn't instill confidence for the Thailand first time tourists.

Thanks, for the second time today, dtaai-maai. I've no idea why you're not a moderator yet...

I was actually looking to get a specific month's number of posts (June) rather than the average over the year, which says that it (the forum) has grown by 3 posts a day in a year. 3 new people posting. That can't be right? :?

Sorry I'd read and replied to Dtaai Maai before I saw this.

Thanks very much for the info. That sucks... I thought it seemed a little slow. You guys do a sterling job offering this free service and I hope it picks up again for you.
