am I the only Forum member who would like to be able
to delete his own posts (like on Facebook)? :mrgreen:

This used to be a forum feature until a few years ago. Certain wind up merchants were starting arguments making some really nasty accusations, upsetting a lot of people, and then editing or deleting the evidence to the extent that it was making the victim look the aggressor. Hence the forum has a policy of not editing or deleting anything after the initial period of grace.

"period of grace" = while you're able to make corrections
