Post by Hahuahin »

Which TV providers is available in Hua Hin? We rent a condo in Nongkae area and have only Thai Tv and separate Internet connection through 3BB. I would like to watch news in English and some sports & movie channels had ben a plus.

If you have Internet, there are a variety of providers at reasonable cost.

Personally, I think Thai Expat TV takes some beating. You can try it free for a few days with absolutely no obligation. Just click the link for more information http://www.thaiexpat.tv/aff.php?aff=033

I also use, and like, Thai Expat TV

Why not just buy one of those boxes that gets everything you want and no bills

I don't think they actually give me what I want. However, I'm willing to be proved wrong. I want to be able to watch regular UK TV at times that suit me, and without seeing the buffering symbol on my screen every few minutes.

ITV programmes are available for free with no buffering and on demand. Google the ITV hub, you have to register but it's free. Disable any adblocker you have and use a VPN to show you are in the UK. I used it for a few weeks recently while I was waiting for someone to update my Minix box as Crazy88 mentioned above. Used HDMI to connect laptop to TV.

There seems to be an inordinate number of these TV boxes on the market at the moment. Does any one have a definitive list with pros and cons?
