I actually paid 13p for a pint of Mild in the Keyham Vaults, Plymouth. I felt quite guilty drinking it

These days, all I can drink is Guinness - 230 Baht/pint
League 1 - Rochdale....1 Plymouth Argyle....1

Points 65; Position 7

Just looked it up. Feb 1971 was when Decimal currency was introduced.
I can remember when it was 2/6 as in 2 shillings and 6 pence a pint, but this was in the South East where prices would have been more than in the provinces!!

Beer is cheap again in the UK, I was back in Nottingham a couple of weeks ago and paid just over £2 for a pint of real ale in one of those chain pubs. I remember paying that much for a pint on the south coast in about 1985!

I noticed that in 2016 in Hull and it's tasty as well. A week ago we had some visitors from Leeds in our school and they were not too happy about the price of beer here in Finland. It can easily be 7-9 € for a half litre of ale in pubs.
